Waynetown, Feb 9 - Tuberculosis, with which the young man had suffered for 3 years claimed the life yesterday afternoon of Wallace Switzer, son of J.E. Switzer of Christian Union. Death occurred at the home of Wallace's father at 1:30. The death is a pathetic one, not only because of the youth of the dread disease's victim, but also because of the efforts of the parents to curb the affliction. When their boy was taken ill he was taken to New Mexico, in the hope that a change in climate would help him. No change for the better came, however, and he was brought home last spring. Wallace was the second of a family of 11 children, 9 of whom are still living. He had attended school in Waynetown and lived here all his life, except when in the west. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 at the Christian Union Church, Rev. McMullen having charge.
